Do you know if your registered domain is belongs to you?
Today we're going to share about how to define is the domain belong to you?
These are 2 types of domain we're going to share.
1. .com.my
2. .com
If you are using.com.my, it only recognizes the registered company's SSM or Ic.
Which means, when you register .com.my as a domain, you will need to submit more documents to get your domain but this also easily to prove your idenfication.
If you are using .com, it will recognize your register email. Which means, if during the domain register you must send you email to your service provider, they will use your email to register for the domain.
You will get a verify email after succefully registered, so through this action you will know this domain is belongs to you.
But, if during the register step, your service provider didn't use your email to register for the domain, then the domain of you are using is not belongs to you. If one day if you want to change your service provider or you want to take back your domain, it is not easy, it will depends your service provider willing to give it back to you or not.
It is very important point that you will need to take note when you want to purchase domain.
The renerwal fee of domain is not expensive, but if you are required to pay more than RM10( Ten thousand ringgit ) - to get back the ownership of “your domain”, will you pay more attention to it?
Domain ownership is very important.
