Step to Step Thunderbird Main Client to Access Your Mailbox

Assumptions: Username (Email): myname@mydomain.com.my
Password: mySecret

You should replace your email address and password while setting up your mailbox.

In Home menu, click Email

In “Welcome to Thunderbird”, enter your email address and click Skip this and use my existing email

In “Mail Account Setup”, Enter Your name, Email address, Password, click continue.

Click on Manual Config

Change “Incoming” to POP3, enter Incoming Server Hostname, Outgoing Server Hostname, and change outgoing port to 587
